If you are hungry for an authentic Hungarian feast look no further, our latest GOULASH FESTIVAL just closed it’s doors but we are already planning the next fun filled Sunday! The festival moves around the south of England so each venue is at different locations.

When?

SUNDAY 2. June 2019. / between 11am and 6pm

Where?

Meadow Brook, Frouds Lane, Aldermaston, Reading, Berkshire RG7 4LH

What you can expect?

A superb authentic Hungarian family-festival filled with culture, music, children activities and mouth-watering traditional food and drink all around.

If you would like to taste some real authentic goulash dish you would only need to travel to Reading! Here is the best opportunity to enjoy a truly fantastic bowl of Hungarian goulash made in cauldron at the scene. In case you are a big fan of a decent sized of red paprika seasoned spicy sausage, no need to look further even! Might choose our traditional Hungarian langosh too (the super tasty deep fried bread dough with garlic, cheese and sour-cream). You can also taste our Transylvanian chimney-cake (”kürtőskalács”) which is a sweet bread with a crispy outside and a light fluffy dough inside. The festival features many more fantastic Hungarian culinary enjoyments.

But don’t forget about our world famous spirit called palinka either, which made of pure fruits only. Truly unique, just like our quality wines we brought to you from different Hungarian wine regions.

What else after you are not hungry anymore?

We know, after the food comes the entertainment so expect to enjoy:
- live folk music and folk dance by Hungarians
- live bands playing evergreen rock ballads
